Volunteer Opportunities
Our generous volunteers are a key part of our mission to advance health care in our community. Men and women of all ages give thousands of hours assisting patients, their families and staff members and help in nearly all departments of Davis Regional Medical Center.
While we work with our new volunteers to help them find the most fulfilling opportunity, we also work hard to ensure the position utilizes their talents and fits their schedule. In addition to donating their personal time, volunteers raise funds for special hospital projects benefitting patients and families as well as our community members.
Volunteer Purpose
The purpose of the Sunshine Volunteer Association is to render service to Davis Regional Medical Center and its patients, to bring cheer and comfort to those who are ill, and to assist the hospital in promoting the health and welfare of the community, in accordance with the objectives established by the hospital administration and board of trustees.
