Clyde Wood
Network Chief Executive Officer
Clyde Wood serves as a network chief executive officer for Davis Regional Medical Center and Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Before joining the Davis and Lake Norman team, he served as CEO for Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center. He works to create an environment and culture that supports providers and patients, leading to increases in employee and physician engagement and in strengthening patient satisfaction.
Wood has previously held CEO positions with hospitals in Tennessee, Missouri and Louisiana and served in the United States Army Reserves for eight years. He earned a master’s degree in physical therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Missouri State University in Springfield and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Wood has been active in Rotary International since 2007 and is serving on boards of business and charitable organizations in the community.
Matthew Littlejohn
Network Chief Operating Officer
Matthew “Matt” Littlejohn currently serves as network chief operating officer for both Davis Regional Medical Center and Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Prior to joining the North Carolina market, Matt served as CEO of Tennova Healthcare’s Newport Medical Center where he expanded services, enhanced facilities, and recruited physicians – all with a vision to serve more patients locally. Matt originally joined Tennova Healthcare as assistant CEO of North Knoxville Medical Center before being promoted to CEO of Newport Medical Center. Prior to joining Tennova Healthcare, Matt held several leadership roles at Bon Secours St. Francis in Greenville, South Carolina, where he was responsible for acquisitions, executing strategic initiatives, expanding access, and managing multiple services lines. Matt completed his administrative residency at Roper St. Francis Healthcare, in Charleston, SC - which employs more than 300+ physicians, operates four Hospitals in the low-country region, and generates more than $1 billion in revenue. Roper St. Francis is also part of the Bon Secours Health System.
Matt holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration (MHA) from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in business administration from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
James "Jamey" Stoner
Chief Financial Officer
Jamey Stoner has been a member of the hospital's leadership team for 15 years, serving as chief financial officer (CFO) from 2001 to 2014 and then rejoining the hospital as CFO in 2019. He has extensive healthcare finance experience and is a certified public accountant. He received his Bachelor of Science from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem.
Rose Brandau
Chief Nursing Officer
Rose joined Davis Regional Medical Center in October 2019. She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Lenoir-Rhyne College, a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Akron, and she is a nurse executive, board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Her extensive leadership experience includes responsibilities for multiple clinical departments, including a free-standing surgery center and a free-standing ER. Rose is passionate about a culture of caring, encompassing quality patient care, patient satisfaction, as well as purpose, joy in the work we do and meaning for the hospital staff.
Tina Music
Network Chief Quality Officer
Tina Music, BSN, ADN, CPHQ, is an experienced quality leader with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare regulatory, patient safety and risk management roles. Tina has served in nursing and administrative roles through the years including neurosurgical critical care, medical-surgical services director, emergency services director, education director, director of risk management, quality and patient safety, regulatory nurse consultant and legal nurse consultant. In the early 2000s, Tina served as Lake Norman Regional Medical Center’s director of quality and risk management before returning to the CQO position in 2019 and assuming the position at Davis Regional Medical Center in May 2022. She received her associate degree in nursing from Prestonburg Community College in Prestonburg, Kentucky, and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Kentucky, College of Nursing in Lexington, Kentucky. She is a certified professional in healthcare quality (CPHQ).
