Behavioral Health Services
At Davis Regional Medical Center, we focus on helping individuals achieve optimal mental health in a professional and caring environment, serving both adult and geriatric patients. Our interdisciplinary behavioral health team provides stabilization, evaluation, planning and treatment services in a safe and secure environment. Behavioral health-trained professionals assist patients in developing coping skills to better manage their symptoms through an individualized treatment plan that includes a variety of services and interventions, including:
- Short-term crisis stabilization
- Assessment and evaluation
- Safety monitoring
- Medication management
- Individual and group therapy
- Discharge planning and referral for continuation of care in an outpatient setting
Patients who seek our services often experience acute and chronic depressive disorders; suicidal ideation; severe anxiety and stress-related problems; psychosis or delusions; social withdrawal and ineffective coping; or sudden and unexplained changes in behavior.
