About Davis Pain Treatment Center
Chronic pain can result from disease or trauma. It has a way of wearing down even the most motivated and enthusiastic individual after a period of time. Often times chronic pain sufferers endure a life that has been altered to accommodate their pain. Lives and careers are interrupted, or even altered drastically. Our goal at the Davis Pain Treatment Center is to minimize our patients’ pain, restore their ability to function, and ultimately enjoy a better quality of life.
The physicians at Davis Pain Treatment Center are dedicated to making advanced pain relief an experience free of stress, worry, and anxiety. Every patient who visits the Center receives personal care and individualized treatment from board certified and fellowship trained anesthesiologists who sub-specialize in acute and chronic pain management. In order for our patients to receive the care they deserve, we provide 24/7 call coverage.
Our physicians take a team approach to pain management, working closely with primary care physicians, physical and occupational therapists and other specialists to improve our patient’s function and rehabilitation. We also work closely with psychological caregivers to ease the emotional impact of coping with chronic pain. Together we develop high-quality, personalized and professional pain treatment plans custom-designed to provide relief for the diseases and injuries which cause our patients’ pain.
Providing effective pain management often requires a multi-modal treatment plan. Our physicians are skilled at diagnostic and therapeutic injections / nerve blocks. We offer medication regimes including chronic opioid management when appropriate. Our practice uses advanced modalities such as implantation of spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal drug infusion pumps.
Our pain management program includes treatment of:
- Low back and neck pain
- Failed back surgery
- Chronic muscle spasm
- Diabetic & other neuropathies
- Reflex sympathetic dystrophy
- Pain from peripheral vascular disease
- Cancer pain
- Other chronic pain conditions
