The Special Delivery team at Davis Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that we are now offering a higher level of obstetrical care with expanded Lactation Services. A Board-Certified Lactation Consul
tant is available to assist moms and babies during and after their hospital stay.
We offer unique services, such as:
- Comprehensive and practical breastfeeding classes
- Special classes for mothers who are going back to work and pumping
- Couples breastfeeding class
- Weekly drop-in clinic for nursing mothers and babies
- Lactation Consultant available during drop-in clinic times
- Weigh your baby and help with any questions you may have
- Dedicated Breastfeeding Call Line for mothers to talk with Lactation Consultant after leaving the hospital
- Follow -up appointments if further assistance or teaching is needed

You are invited to a….. Weekly Breastfeeding Café & Clinic!
This weekly event is staffed by our Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She is available to answer your breastfeeding questions and discuss other common topics including how to increase your milk supply, proper latch-on and positioning techniques, how to select a pump, milk expression and storage, preparing to return to work, nursing while on the go, and identifying normal feeding and sleeping patterns.
In addition the Café and Clinic offers:
- An infant scale to follow your baby’s growth
- A casual and comfortable environment to nurse your baby
- An opportunity to meet and chat with other breastfeeding mothers
- Refreshments - Coffee, tea and snacks
- Library of breastfeeding and parenting books for you to read
This drop-in group is not a substitute for individual lactation consultation, but it is an opportunity to address minor or ongoing concerns. Registration is not required.
Drop-In Cafe Schedule: Mondays from 10 am to 1 pm
