The years over fifty-five may bring the most stressful changes of a person's life. It’s not surprising that many aging adults find these years to be less than they had hoped for. The emotions and stresses associated with retirement, changes in finances, loss of loved ones, loneliness and even the physical changes associated with growing older can become overwhelming.

Our Program
We are an outpatient counseling center that assists the senior adult population of our communities to return to emotional and mental well being. Our program is designed to provide outpatient therapeutic counseling services to patients in a comfortable, home-like environment. Patients may receive individual, family, and/or group counseling from a licensed clinical therapist. The program is coordinated by a psychiatric medical director. All services are ordered and supervised by a licensed physician. Patients participate in the program for approximately 3 hours per day Monday-Friday.
Our Licensed Counselors
Our licensed counselors use a variety of therapeutic techniques to assist patients in developing positive coping skills, effective use of leisure time, and problem solving skills. We also provide lunch to our patients in a family-dining atmosphere.
"Inspirations" is proud to offer free transportation to our patients who have no means to attend the program. We have wheelchair accessible vans and trained drivers.

Financial Concerns
Money worries affect most seniors. They may find that their pensions, social security checks, and savings bonds do not allow them the comforts or necessities they once took for granted. Not being able to purchase a small gift for a grandchild or not being able to afford food or utilities, are common, painful realities for many.
