The Medical / Surgical Department at Davis Regional Medical Center is designed for patients who are experiencing medical or surgical problems. Medical problems include, but are not limited to, pneumonia, diabetes, urological conditions, chronic lung disease, congestive heart failure, or wound treatment.
Located on the 3rd floor of the hospital, the department is comprised of registered and licensed nurses, as well as certified nursing assistants and unit clerks. In addition, this department receives wide-spread physician coverage. A nursing station is situated in a central location to ensure nurses are in close proximity to patients and are available to render compassionate, professional medical care in a timely manner.
