About Friends
Davis Regional Medical Center’s Friends Group is an organization designed to promote and encourage better health for mature Americans (50+ years), through health education, wellness programs, and access to quality medical services. As a member of the Davis Regional Medical Center Friends group, you are eligible to receive special benefits, either as a hospital patient, or as an active member of the Friends family.
Membership Information
Membership is free! By joining our group (and completing the application) you will receive newsletters, advising of upcoming programs. You will also be eligible for door prizes and birthday gift at the meetings. (

In-Patient Benefits
Should you become hospitalized at our facility, you will receive:
- A complimentary meal (one per day, 3 day maximum) for your caregiver or family member during your hospitalization. (To redeem this benefit, please notify the Friends office (ext. 7106) to make us aware of your hospitalization.)
Active Member Benefits
As an active member of Davis Regional’s Friends organization, you are eligible to receive:
- Faster access in the Davis Regional Fitness Program.
- Blood pressure & blood sugar checks before monthly meetings or upon request.
- Free copying of important papers.
- Free Notary service (please call to schedule an appointment).
- Bi-monthly newsletter.
- Monthly meetings with delicious snacks, great door prizes, individual birthday recognitions, and interesting speakers discussing a variety of medical and social topics.
- Discount tickets for Disney World, Carowinds, Biltmore House, North Carolina Zoo, and Tweetsie Railroad. (Discounts subject to change per availability.)
