Psychiatrist Amy Heymann Singleton Opens Practice

Davis Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Dr. Amy Heymann Singleton, psychiatrist, has joined the hospital’s medical staff. 

An honors graduate, Dr. Singleton received her medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine.  She completed a psychiatry residency at Wake Forest University Medical Center and an internship and residency in Emergency Medicine at Pitt County Memorial Hospital/Brody School of Medicine.   She is board eligible in Psychiatry, Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, and an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support provider.

Prior to joining Davis Regional, Dr. Singleton was affiliated with Wake Forest University’s Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Singleton has strong ties to this community, dating back to her high school years and volunteer service with Davis Regional Medical Center’s Sunshine Volunteer program.  In addition, Dr. Singleton provided care at Piedmont HealthCare’s Urgent Care Center from September 2007 - November 2009. She was also affiliated with Novant Health / Primecare Urgent Care, Cannon Family Medicine & Urgent Care, and Emergency Medicine Physicians of Lenoir County.
