Davis Regional ER Ribbon Cutting

Friday, September 18, 2009 marked an important day in the life of Davis Regional Medical Center, with the ribbon cutting of a new $7.9 million Emergency Department.

Boasting 19-treatment rooms to care for trauma, obstetrics, ENT, orthopedic and psychiatric patients, the facility offers state-of-the-art technology for enhanced patient care and staff efficiencies.     

Flat-screen TVs in all treatment areas, office space for EMS and law enforcement personnel, along with a family consultation room are included in the 15,000 square foot addition.  The Davis Regional ER is designed to handle increased patient volumes faster and more efficiently while still maintaining patient privacy and comfort.

The new ER is expected to officially open Monday, October 5.
