Vince Cherry

A former Health Management Administrator of the year in 2002, Vince Cherry has over 22 years experience in diverse executive leadership positions with Health Management Associates. Cherry, who was Davis Regional's CEO from 2000-2006, returned to the CEO role at the hospital in January 2012.
Prior to returning to Davis Regional, Vince served as CEO at University Medical Center in Lebanon, TN, and also as a division project manager and interim CEO throughout our hospital network.
Well respected by the medical staff, hospital associates, and community, Vince is very active in the community. His past community board positions include chairman of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, Iredell County Economic Development Board, chairman of Statesville's United Way Board, North Carolina Boy Scouts of America Board, chairman of the American Red Cross, March of Dimes Board, the North Carolina American Heart Association Board. In addition he served on the North Carolina Hospital Association Policy Development Board.
A proven leader, Vince is a tremendous asset to our hospital and the community.
